Welcome to Amanda Ball — St. Mary’s New Youth and Children’s Ministry Coordintor

St. Mary’s would like to welcome Amanda Ball, as our new Youth and Children’s Ministry Coordinator. Amanda and her husband, Michael, will be joining the St. Mary’s parish family as of January 2020. Amanda is very passionate about pointing the next generation to Jesus and helping them find an authentic faith and hope in their lives.

Amanda is a Tyndale University College & Seminary (Toronto, ON) graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies & Theology. She has also recently completed all requirements for a Master of Theology from Queen’s College (St. John’s, NL) which will be received in Spring 2020.

We look forward to Amanda helping us to launch new programming for St. Mary’s as we expand our activities to grow and equip the next generation with tools for life and a vibrant faith. Amanda’s portfolio of work will include organizing and managing all of our weekly and monthly youth, children and family related activities at St. Mary’s.

Both Amanda and Michael were born and raised in St. John’s, Newfoundland.  Michael is currently studying at Tyndale University, working towards a degree in Music Performance.  Amanda & Michael have both been highly involved in their home church in Newfoundland and both bring a wealth of experience, particularly in the areas of next generation ministries and musical worship. As for their spare time, you’ll typically find Michael with a guitar in his hand and Amanda with a snack, a cat, and something to read!  They and their three cats, Moe, Phil, and Timmy are excited to be moving our part of the GTA at the beginning of January. Please extend a warm welcome to Amanda and Michael as we welcome them into our St. Mary’s family.
