Dear Friends. It has been 182 days since our parish was last open for public worship. Your parish leaders have worked hard over these last 6 months to keep our church ahead of the curve on many fronts. This past week we received permission from Bishop Fenty to re-open for public worship on Sunday, September 13th. The conditions for our opening are many, and we will be following the best guidance from provincial and local health authorities, as well as the Diocese. We have reduced our seating capacity to 30%, and have organised the building to protect all who wish to return for in-person worship. Please click on the picture of St. Mary’s below, and you’ll be able to access a document that will walk you through our reopening plans and also share how our service reservation system has been organised.
We all know, that many of you will not be returning to our in-person programming, so please enjoy our virtual worship and keep in touch with the parish office as you are able.
Yours in Christ,
The Reverend Matthew McMillan
Rector, St. Mary’s Anglican Church
