150th Garden Party Memories

For those who could not join us on Saturday, June 25th for our 150th Anniversary Garden Party, please find below various details and memories from a wonderful afternoon spent together as a parish family.  We had about 100 people in attendance on a very warm and sunny June day.  Our event had historical displays curated by the Archives Committee laid out in our Original Church and the buildings were open for guests and families to explore and remember our wonderful history.  The highlight was the remarks from Catherine Leckey (wife of the late Canon Bob Leckey) and a presentation to the parish by Mayor West from the City of Richmond Hill.   Below, you will find links to our Garden Party Photo Album, as well as other items including the remarks from Catherine Leckey and our certificate from Mayor West.  Please explore and enjoy these items as you are able.

The Wardens would like to thank the members of our 150th Committee and all the Gardening and Hosting volunteers who helped to make this event the success it was.  A special thank you to Committee Chair – Colin Webb, and our intrepid hosting team, lead by Diane Robertson.  We thank everyone for joining us and for all you do to make our church the special place and family it is.  Have a blessed summer and we’ll look forward to seeing everyone at our future 150th events.

Sincerely,

St. Mary’s Wardens
